As many of you have heard 2014 has been a big year for The Fairy Tale Fair, a Brighton based craft fair we run. As well as our usual and ever popular Patcham fair, held locally in Brighton we also held two fairs in central Brighton this Christmas- Brighton Open Market, and Brighton Racecourse which was Brighton’s biggest christmas craft fair and saw over 100 stalls fill the venue.
The fairs were all well received by stall holders and customers alike.
Patcham saw the return of our craft workshop room, vintage tearoom and the magical Sparkles Face Painting. We also held a charity raffle for Cats Protection Brighton and Patcham Youth Silver Band performed. We even had a visit from a very impressed Caroline Lucas, Brighton MP.
Brighton Open Market was filled with 40 of our wonderful handmade sellers and we also had Brighton Lindyhoppers perform. The venue also boasts permanent shops, cafes and studios and makes for a great visit for unique finds and gifts.
Brighton Racecourse was our biggest fair of them all, with over 100 stalls making it Brighton’s biggest handmade Christmas fair of 2014! Organising this fair has taken 9 months of hard work, and it has been very stressful indeed! On the day though everything came together. There were performances from the Snow Queen from Frozen, vintage singers, a local Ballet class. There were also fairies face painting, Santa’s Photobooth by Big Booth Boutique , candy floss and lots lots more! Kids also got free goody bags filled with wonders that we put together. This fair was held on Saturday 6th December, which was Small Business Saturday UK, of which we were one of the chosen top 100 in the UK!!!
The Fairy Tale Fair will be back from Spring 2015 and we can’t wait to announce details, dates and further plans for world domination! To find out more head to www.thefairytalefair.co.uk
