A regular client of mine is Powder Beauty Boutique, a well established vintage themed beauty salon in Brighton’s iconic laines.
The salon is has beautiful vintage themed rooms and has even been featured in Vogue magazine. I first met Rachel, the salon owner, a couple of years ago when I went in to get my nails painted as pandas (they were super cute)!
I have worked with them on many projects including their WordPress blog, Facebook events and updates, Twitter campaigns and updates and also co-organising events with them.
In November 2013 we held Powders Christmas Boutique Market- where for the first time Powder was transformed to hold vintage and jewellery local makers and designers selling their wares in each room over the 3 floors. There was also homemade cake, cava and cocktails, yummy treats, discounted treatments and a singer in the entrance from South Coast Swing Events. The festive day was well received and stall holders said they had never sold in such a pretty venue! We invited lots of bloggers and the local press also covered the event.
We look forward to working with Powder on future events and campaigns. We have a new Twitter campaign coming up in 2014, and also plans for some special bloggers events at the salon soon!
Powder also stock a small range of my Jewellery in salon for sale, as well as some cards too, so do pop along if you can.
Powder was also used as the location for my first jewellery photoshoot, and they did the make up for this too. They have also previously taken part in The Fairy Tale Fair craft fair that I organise too.
I also created custom brand name necklaces for the girls in salon to wear as part of their uniform. The necklaces cut in mustard yellow acrylic look great against their black t-shirts and they get comments daily on them.
Have a look at their webiste & blog. You can also find them on Facebook.
